Our Dunn Lake Road project is nearing completion, much in part to the fantastic work our crews – three women in particular – have put in these past nine months.

Recently, our team achieved a significant milestone, as we installed our final culvert on Dunn Lake Road. Over the past 10 months, Dawson Civil removed 160 linear metres of culvert and upgraded the project by installing 597.3 linear metres of culverts of various sizes. This massive undertaking and culvert enhancement will great improve the drainage system of the new highway and drastically limit potential flood damage. Alex Sawatzky played a pivotal role in this project, rising the ranks from an operator, to project coordinator and now as a quality control inspector. Natalia Biagioni has worked an excavator over every inch of this highway and helped install many infrastructure pieces for the project. Sydney Halvorson started as a traffic control person with Dawson Civil and has grown into the role of roller operator and has her level three first-aid. This highway would not have been completed on time, under budget, with the highest degree of execution and safety without their contributions.
